venue!

hello people! (:

anyway sam and i think sakura is probably not going to an option cos of the fact that it's going to be quite expensive for some of us. cos though we are capping 20 bucks for the juniors, but then plus our own share, it's almost close to 50 bucks alr. so yeah, i think for the sake for ur welfare, maybe we go for other options yeah. sorry ):

and we need places where we can make noise.

actually now we were thinking about miss clarity cafe which i think is probably closer to everyone's budget. heard and confirmed that food there is quite cheap and we can still cap our budget at 20 bucks per junior but at least you probably wont need to pay so much for ur share. yepyep. foodwise, a search on google can bring you a lot of good reviews (can click on kityeng's link on the tagboard), just the only worry is that portions may be small for some of you ppl, but since food is not ex, you can order multiple servings -.- and im asking the people whether can book the place or not, whether there's extra charge or anything yep. heard its quite cosy there.

you know afterall we need a place where we can interact with juniors and laugh together (:

and meanwhile, there's still another option of vil'lage which i think is like marche. price-wise not sure. will go check it out.

but we need an idea who's NOT against clarity cafe. thanks!

Hey all, due to many worries that I will be caught and killed becoz of wonderful song about this guy called Mr C-Var coz I was insulting this imaginary person, I've decided to delete the post lol. Please the point of making the song was to insult him in the first place. But of course I'm not exactly that dumb to sing the song out loud in front of a specific prominent (literally) person, I would like to finish my A Levels.

Oh yes yes, me and chankeet started up a blog 2 weeks ago, think we got like less than 5 entries in it so far. so the final vote was 14 for white windbreaker and 12 for black. however, the uncle just informed that there's no white available for the windebreaker of that kind of nice quality lahh. so we should be getting a black windbreaker yeah? (but it will not be the apollo design yep) should be around 28 bucks yep. so start saving up! for windbreaker, for class fund, for stj!

and meanwhile wait for jts!

and people, please please try to make these days as free as you can - 10th feb, 24th feb and 31st mar.

and so far, after eliminating all the impossibly expensive options that you guys have suggested, erm these are the more affordable places for stj (: budget should be around 20 dollars, possible?

cos i think junior class also needs to know when we are free. hahah we seniors are busy people man! oh yes and i heard that 9th feb is o' lvls result release days, so angels with mortals in o' lvl track can help allay a bit of their fears lahh. heh.

and if you have any idea where to hold STJ, let me or sam know yeah? must be able to hold 50 ppl. you get the idea =p

Well as requested by the class i will post this last minute entry abt tomorrow.

Classmates and ESPECIALLY JUNIOR CLASS PPL please take note.

1st & the most important thing, address: BLK 1B Shelford Road, The Shelford #01-12
Just stop at the bus stop OPPOSITE of CORONATION PLAZA.
and enter the condo that has a tennis court, its just abt 10 footsteps down the bustop. its freaking obvious i dun think u all can miss it :

The thing -={officially}=- starts at 6 plus onwards
But if some of u wanna come earlier its okay, i noe some coming at 1 like that.

haha... the function room is booked by someone else... hiy i guess i am too slow, lol . And i only realized this after i invited everyone. Nevertheless, will still have the gathering on tomorrow. Am living at the ground floor for those who dunno, and directly outside of my house is this small pool, so we will have it ard that compound. Yea..

because i wasn't able to book the function room, its not possible to cater food as theres no space, sooo had to do with this potluck idea

Ya. so guys, Please bring EITHER FOOD along, OR $4. (heavily subsidised liao)
The $4 thats collected frm everyone will be used to order some canadian pizza or if u guys are feeling rich pizza hut, ur choice.

heyy ppl, ok so we did this last vote thing today and out of class tee, jackets and windbreaker, the top choice is: class jacket. does anyone strongly object?

so now we need to decide the TYPE of jacket you guys want it to be, i think this is ambigous cos we all have different ideas on what a jacket should be. so can you guys tell us what kind you want? yupp.

and we wanna say thanks for all the wonderful suggestions such as class shoes, socks, bracelets(-.-) etc..it's nicee we're enthu about this. haha.

1)those who are NOT ordering the time magazine from sch pls bring your subscription proof on mon.

2)pls read the articles i gave out on fri by the next gp lesson on tuesday and be ready to discuss them for the lesson

3)pls do issues and ideas by next tueday as well.do ALL THE COMPULSORY questions if not you'll have to do the rest of the non-compulsory qns as well

4)pls pay $26.40 if u all ordered the econs booklet to yueqi(presumably by the next econs lesson)

5)pls pay an additional 60bucks(not including the initial 20bucks) for class fund (if u're ordering the times magazine) or 25bucks if u're not by mon.

THE ECONS THING

hello people! (:

For the Econs booklet thing right, do you guys prefer to

1) buy a copy each
2) buy a copy and share with a few people
or
3) buy a copy and share amongst the whole class?

Okay, the third choice is quite unlikely cause Dr siva says he's gonna use the book for revision or sth, is it? Then we'll still have to photocopy using the classfund provided he tells us what pages hes gonna be using before the lesson itself, which is equally unlikely.

Then if you guys buy and share among a group of people, you'll still have the same photocopying problem! But if siva doesn't mind, it'll cut the cost loads, not counting the subsequent photocopying ones. Like if we share in groups of four, then each person only pays $6.60 each! Share in pairs also can so even if you didn't photocpy, you can share the book quite easily until you get to photocopy.

Buying a copy each costs a bomb and there are loads of MCQs inside which is useless unless you are planning to be ulta hardworking and do them all but the plus points are that you don't have to keep photocopying and you get to burn your own personal copy after As for extra satisfaction.

Oh, but I don't know whether Dr siva wants all of us to buy one copy each or whatever though . I msged him to check on Saturday but he's either - or - cause he didn't reply! grr. So I thought I'll just let you guys think and choose first until the golden reply comes /:

anyway, pls kindly bring your sec school uniform on monday to change alright? guys and girls alike.... but ehh can the high school guys please try to bring your nice old pe t shirt? then we see how first lah. =p

and i think some games we are playing will be double whacko and whatever random games like the niunai game (rmb the one the snrs taught us? heh) and then we'll be getting some chips to share among all of us so you ppl wont go hungry (:

oh ya, btw any kind soul please help to bring camera ((: haha!

and one thing we need to ask is, whether you guys want to have dinner out together after meeting juniors? thought it might be rather tough to ask the jnrs along tmr cos they prob havent asked their parents and whatsoever, what abt a dinner for us? heh.

haha anyway I initially don't wanna hold any celebration or something for my bdae this yr cause last yr was ! : terrible in a way that there were more then 50 ppl and i couldn't handle it all by myself.

But some of you in class wanted it, so that it can be a platform for everyone to slack and catch up outside of school....
so.. yea... i can reconsider la but this is gonna be of a smaller scale la no more that 50 ppl this time
